Having trouble securing the Pro I really want and I see all sort of conversions here that look amazing. While I’m great at buying things online, I’m not equipped with tools and knowledge to do it myself. Are there shops out there who can do it for me? Ideally Southern California/Orange county area if someone has a good recommendation.

Are you looking to just do the cosmetic upgrades to an Offroad to make it look like a Pro? I ask because you can get a much better suspension for less money installed than what the Pro comes with.

    Bingo much better for less.

The pro grill? Like 150 max. The hood ? Goodluck with the swap. The badges ? Cheap you can find.

You can also get the tech premium or whatever offroad and get leather. The exhaust is something that is a little more money. But at the end of the day if you want it you do you.

That being said the OR is a fantastic truck and you can get great suspension with the $ saved from a pro.

Edit: check out the selling 3rd gen section. Southern california always has 3rd gens for sale and some are pros.

Performance definitely matters. The car will be in Cabo and even the paved roads here are crappy. Tires, suspension, skid plate, etc are important.

Uhhhhh you sure you want extra bling ? Are you gonna be parking in a private garage?

Also you're not gonna need skids for street driving. Even the cobble stone paved over pot hole ridden streets won't require top end stuff that can't be done on any other trim.

I will never financially recover from this
I have about $600 in my truck to make it Pro-ish

TRD pro knock off + garnish - $112
    BHLM + switchback pivot halos - $350
MBRP exhaust (not the pro but sounds good to me) - $225
    Hood swap - free
    Plastidipped OR wheels - $30
    Badges (TRD OFFROAD) -$25

Add a Bilstein 6112/5160 suspension, tires, wheels and skid.... and maybe clazzios if you want leather and it’ll probably be at least another $3500 depending on if you install yourself or not.
