Long bed was my top feature too. I went with an off road double cab long bed with premium and tech package, to get leather and automatic climate control.

Its about a $6k difference between the pro and OR DCSB for me. Thats off MSRP. Im sure I could get a nicely loaded OR for $40k and the pros are going for about $48k, so closer to $8-$10k. But that army green and those wheels look nice...then again, you can get stealth custom series wheels for like $1.2k. I duno, I’m in the same boat brother. Trying to decide. This is going to be my first taco, super excited to join the club!

As has been said already, whats the point in buying a pro if you’re going to mod out most of everything that really makes it a pro? Just get a loaded OR. Same basic platform, and you can mod to your hearts content without paying a premium for stuff you don’t want.

OR’s are nice. I’m just not crazy about the new colors coming this year. Glad I got my QS while it was still available since I didn't wait for the army green pro.

I bought an offroad for the fact that I hate leather seats, the fox suspension was eventually going to be swapped out anyways for a 2" lift, and the rims are...ehhh.. to pay $4-8k more for stuff I'm going to change later anyways, and to have some $30 badge on my door?? all set.. OR has same locker/axles, and V-6 as the pro... other stuff I would modify or change as I want to...

The Pro is nicer than the off road. It’s okay guys, no big deal. Off road is nice too.

I never cared for the limited colors of the Pro.

Pro is a trim package, it should be available in all colors, cab sizes and bed length.

We already have a "Limited" trim, limit the color choices on that.

nice avatar! I like the army green and the headlights. Headlights and wheels are really what id swap on an OR, so I feel like the pro is a good choice if I could get it for like 45.

MY problem with the rims is that they only come in 7" wide.... and the factory offset is ehhh...

Pro rims are nice. If you wheel with it (mud), they will be FUBAR’ed tho.

I bought 17" x 8.5" method racing MR 305 NV bronze rims (although would have prefered an 8" wide) 0 ofset, but depending on the tire width/height you want to go with will determine ofset required to clear UCA.. I did a LOT of looking, and measuring before deciding on my rims going with 265/70/17 goodyear wrangler Duratrac 31.6" tire... it will fit under factory suspension (so I've been told), only possibility is having to remove the factory mudflaps, and possibly trim, or heat and beat the fenderwell liner.. Tacoma is my DD, and suspension lift is coming this spring. saving up for a billstein 6112/5150 kit with SPC UCA's, and RXT leafs (2"lift).
