Pro if you’re not gonna mod it, and you’re gonna keep it in pristine condition because you’re a Toyota pickup enthusiast.

OR if you’re gonna shred the gnar on trails.

    Minivan if you have kids.

Anytime I see a dude in a minivan, I say a prayer for another fallen brother.

I also was split over the TRD OR and the Pro. I ended up going with the pro cause I was able to find a great deal for far under MSRP, but I do understand the large price jump. I personally will be modifying mine a lot trying to build it as an overland rig, but for the time being I am leaving the stock suspension on it until I start getting into trails which need more clearance. My thought is that the pro suspension will get me most places where I want to go for the time being, and in a bit I will be upgrading to Icon suspension and selling my old Pro suspension. For me, I think that if you are planning on modding farther down the road, the pro is a great option as it is more capable stock. But if you are planning on going full force into modifications from the get go, then the OR might be the best choice.

Yep, an unmolested Pro will be worth it's weight in gold as it gets older. We'll see a lot of the others riding around with rattles and tons of bolt one and wonky lift kits

Classic. I saw a bro do a perfectly executed left (u) turn and slide into a single open parking spot on the other side of the street, facing correctly, in front of an elementary school curb one icy day a few years ago. Dude could drive. In a Honda mini van. He refused let those cutters near the manly parts, but only in his head.

Roll up to the school pick up lane in that.... even Raptor owners would look at you with envy.

I have a mini van for sale right now! lol. and luckily my wife hates vans so no need for one of those whenever we do start having kids.
Could someone explain the gearing differences between the OR and the Sport? I had a 3rd Gen Sport come into my tire shop I work at yesterday, and I was looking into it, and doing a mock up of a lift on our lift. I know the sport also has the premium package possible that I would like, and it is cheaper. Again, it will mostly be used for city/highway with a few trails/camping. But I dont want to mess anything up on the gearing (I'm still trying to learn about), with a 2-3" lift and some 285's. not too worried about crawl control, even though it would be a nice feature, I just wouldnt use it too often.

No gearing difference between OR and Sport, however AT has 3.91 and MT 4.30.
