I just installed a license plate light 2 weeks ago. Just wired up a cheap LED jobbie that I found on Amazon. If you wanted to use the stock lights but have the license plate located somewhere else, just solder and shrink-wrap in some lengths of wire to move the lights to where you need them.

As for the hitch design and mounting, if you're uncertain, let a professional handle the fabrication. What's on my truck is a hitch receiver designed specifically to be used in a custom application. That way strength and pin hole location were non-issues. I never plan to tow with my truck and have the receiver incorporated for recovery purposes.

I see. I don't know how much towing I expect to be doing but I could really use one.

Hahaha I wish i had pics. I was skeptical at first too but it was when I found out that he was all drunk when he decided to do it that I figured it could be possible. haha.
Supposedly he made the kit, they mounted it, and he romped it around in the desert. I'll try to get some pics...

dude, I just talked to sales at sdhq and they say the price for that bumper is $3,500. Haha, wtf!

I said that can't be right and they said it takes about a week to build. I call BS. That is more than my rear long travel setup

Is there any rear bumpers out there that don't leave the nasty empty pocket at the bottom of the rear fenders??? I want a prerunner style bumper that has a clean look to it also. I plan on fabbing it up myself so some picks would be awesome if you have any out there?
