It is a Rugged Trail Edition, OR TRD Double Cab 4x4. Had the hideous mountain stickers on it, some special floor mats and the skid plate I believe. Other than that, it was just an OR TRD.

Edit: Oh and the black baja wheels.

Yep. Back last June. It's got the black flares too. That was different than the reg. trucks I believe.

Yep, pretty much the same with some (good and lame) fluffy things. Here's a pic. I took off the stickers and it's currently debadged. I'm painting them in a day or two.

Yea that rugged trail one was only for 2008 I believe. I've only ever seen one.

And yea as already mentioned, when it says skid plate, it's not referring to the big gray one that is visible without looking under the truck. That one is an accessory. You have to look under to see the black one which is standard. And yea, it's not all that strong.

I wasn't either the first time I went to the dealer, but when I came back the following weekend for some reason it just called out to me. I've only seen one other one on the road, and of course it has to be in the same damn dinky town I live in. I'm gonna get rid of most if not all of the chrome and just make it black and silver. It's also a bit higher since I got the Rear TSB so it looks a little better.

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
the OR comes stock w/ 2 black skids where the sport comes stock w/ 1. The aluminum silver skid is an addiditonal addon. for the cost of that cheap aluminum one from toyota, u can get an aftermarket one that will hold up much better

In case we haven't already established that the gray aluminum skid plate doesn't come with the TRD OR package, my 09 TRD OR did not come with the gray aluminum skid. I've seen it listed separately on window stickers of trucks that do come with the gray aluminum skid.

Well, after showing the dealer how the website adds that skid plate on with the package, they agreed and they are giving me one, along with apologies for not making sure it was on there in the first place. Soft metal or not, even if I replace it or not, the site shows it was supposed to be there after all and it was the principle of the thing that irked me the most. If it's an upgrade, they oughta fix the website so it doesn't depict it on the preview window and/or make it so it only shows the basic black plate.

Thanks to GeoTaco for the advice and encouragement to get what was owed!
