So I'm thinking about taking off the stickers that say off road. Anyone else done it ? Regret it or no. I have debadged my previous trucks. Alway like the look better. Looks so much cleaner. I'm not ready to debadge this truck tho. The truck I got came with oooo la la special black badges that were like 300 dealer option. Haha.

You should make a poll asking people if you should or not debadge the truck

No kidding. I obviously did not purchase the truck because of the badges tho. I feel I "negotiated" that out.

I guess ill be the one to say it.

If you need to remove the badges, use a heatgun (Ive been making stickers for 15+ years and I use a propane torch) with a teflon card (pink lil-chizzler) or your finger nail to get an edge started. Then stretching the decal usually works best (not pulling back against the decal) so that the adhesive comes off with the decal. Just make sure to keep the heatgun moving at all times so that you dont burn your paint underneath.

If it leaves any residue, use some paper towels with denatured alcohol or bug/tar remover with some elbow grease and lightly with the teflon card.. (I use orange peel adhesive remover-just clean with denatured afterwards)

Always rewax after removing decals too. This is the most missed step.
