Off-Road Upgrade package + 14" screen

I was at a dealer today, and their software couldn't make those two options work together. I pointed out that it works on the Toyota build page, but they're scratching their heads.

Can you only get the OR upgrade package with the 8" screen?

 

OR upgrade + 14" is very common.

First post on the forum after recently picking up a TRDOR DCLB (previously owned a 2013 TRDOR and 2020 TRDPro).

When shopping for my truck from existing inventory, I noticed in real life what you're describing. The explanation I was given was that the JBL audio system with the removable speaker in the dash that comes with some upgrade packages was not compatible with the 14" screen. I take everything a sales guy says with a grain of salt and it doesn't agree with the PDF posted above but that's what they said.

I was looking for a TRDOR for the locking diff, love the big 14"screen for offline navigation apps like Gaia, and didn't really care abut any of the other stuff except heated seats so it worked out perfect for me.

That is 100% BS. The TRD OR and Sport Premium packages come with both the JBL and 14" screen.

It's really crazy the variation in knowledge of salespeople from dealer to dealer. It's like some of them just make shit up that sounds OK until you think about it.

 

I had a salesman tell me today that you could get three different screen sizes. 8", 12.5" and 14". I had to explain the 12.5" screen was the one behind the steering wheel.

hybrids seem to be hard to find 14inch screen unless has 8k trd package. i just want 14inch screen and no sun roof....

A salesman just texted me with a 6’ bed premium package OR $53777 the underground grey on the lot.
