    Side Steps....For now.

I haven't read through this whole thread yet so I'm probably restating what's already been said, but I'm actually in the process of lifting my TRD Sport right now. I've had it since 2011 (same model year) and it has beyond impressed me with it's 4x4 capabilities. The only thing I beat myself up on is that I do 4x4 quite a bit and the sport does NOT have the rear locking diff. however as others have mentioned if you're not doing any hardcore 4x4ing you won't have any issues. Also so you know I went with the Duratrac AT's 285/70/17 and with that size and only a 3" lift you won't need much trimming, if any at all, and it looks sexy!! Though you could probably do a little bit smaller of a tire and not have to worry about trimming at all.

Good luck with the Build. Let's see some pics when she/he's done lol.

Just a bunch of old crap
Cab size irrelevant to bed stats.

How does the short bed have a higher cargo rating? Maybe higher cargo weight per square inch, but overall?

Data on that faster 0-60 claim? Is it in milliseconds?

Again, those are easily overridden by total cargo space without having to stack above the bedsides. Nobody wants to go vertical with their cargo to fit more in it.
