Hi all, my family of 5 is planning a three day vacation this October to Asheville, North Carolina and I'm taking my Taco and my dad wants to bring his 2017 Jeep Rubicon. But We don't know where to ride! Please share any and all places to wheel.

    Thanks

Chestnut Mountain Road at Gorges State Park. About an hour west of Asheville.

Pretty easy trail but a nice drive and scenic. My stock 17 Sport did it with no problem but might have been a little trickier had it been wet. Has a relatively steep climb up a semi-rutted clay hill.

Was told that the trail gets rougher and a lot narrower on the other side of the metal bridge over Horsepasture River. Turned around there cause I didn't want new pinstripes.
