    Good morning all!

    I need some guidance..

I recently put the Toyo Open Country AT3s on my 2016 TRD and I was wondering what the recommended PSI for going up FSRs (Forest Service Roads) and gravelly/ off-roading type roads.

The load rating of your tires will help you determine how low you can go. You can go down lower with a E-load vs Passenger/SL. For something like FSR id personally probably only go down to like 20 psi.

    I run 3.5 to 5 psi. everywhere.

Just experiment with different pressures until you find what you like.

Dont need it for traction but for more of a comfort ride. Especially when you have a wife that gets motion sickness easily.

Ideally you want to run as close to listed recommended psi as possible. Going lower than needed allows sidewall flex. The faster you are traveling, the faster the flex occurs. This builds heat. Heat isn’t good for tires in the long run.

Personally, If I were to air down. (On FSR) I’d try to stay close the the mid-low 20’s and take it slow.
