The biggest killer for me last year for not getting the FJ was the rear seating. I don't think they folded completely flat to the floor. The visibilty in the rear seat wasn't too great either, my 5 year old wouldn't see too well out.

The vehicle did drive nice though. I love how it handled on and off road.

that is why they call the backseat "the cave" that was 1 of many reasons i didnt get the fj along with the seats not folding flat.

Gotta admit, my Fj doesnt have a very scenic back seat. I have no kids or passengers besides my wife and dogs though so it doesnt really matter, but yes the view from back there sucks. To look out the mini window you gotta lean forward a little or else your just staring at a panel.

The seats do fold completely flat and gives you plenty of room, I fit 4 tires and 3 rims back there just a few weeks ago. You gotta remove the headrests to get them to fold flat though

    Sweet video.

Did Toyota change something on them? In my former '08 FJC the rear seats would fold down flat but it wasn't flush with the rear cargo area. The 4Runner I picked up the rear seats fold flat and are flush with the rear cargo area.
