Looking to buy a 2010 Toyota Tacoma double cab 4x4 6cy long bed TRD pkg and towing pkg that has a MSRP plus extras at $ 32,333. Would like to know thoughts on a reasonable starting offer...so I don't get laughed at by offering too low or taken advantage of by offering too much. Any constructive help would be appreciated.

My understanding is that you can't get TRD off road package with the DC longbed models. Did they change this in 2010 or are you talking about the sport package?

x2 I know in 09 you couldnt get the OR in a LB. Id check on that first. go to a few different dealers, i did all of mine online, and start of asking 10-12% off MSRP and tell the dealers you have that offer and ask if they can beat it, if they can go back to the original. I got my 09 DC TRD OR for 25k and change plus tax and tag

not to many, love it the way it is
times 87 to the msrp of the vehicle. this is average for how low a dealer will go. 85 sometimes..

    32,333 times 87 = 28,129

times 85 and you will have 27,483 , obviously a much better deal for you. you'll have more bargaining power with 2009 trucks if you can find them...

these are averages, it all depends on how well you negotiate your position. internet quotes are best to negotiate through. when you get the quote you like negotiate with that with the other dealers

Never feel like you can make an offer that is too low. Worse thing they say is they can't make the deal and you go to the next dealer.

Find out what the actual invoice is and work up from there. Know what your limits are and don't go past the amount you set for yourself.

There are two different TRD packages. Off road and Sport. You can only get the Long bed with the TRD Sport package.
