Comes down to preference I guess.
Only difference I can think of in having them together is the second battery for the split kit is where many put a compressor.

I'd rather keep the compressor in the cabin so meh. Rather have better weight distribution

Co2 is the way to go. I rarely use my compressor anymore, But I keep it in the truck for back up.

Aside from the more even weight distribution, the split system allows the use of Group 34 batteries if you're brave enough to slightly bend the AC lines. Along with these two benefits, the split system was specifically engineered for these trucks and is 100% bolt-in. There is no drilling, cutting, splicing, or modification of the truck in any way whatsoever for installation. This system also maintains ease of access to the oil filter, headlight bulb, and UCA bolt.

Don't get me wrong, the side-by-side system is a great kit and is very popular as well. But the side-by-side tray is actually a "universal" design that requires a few holes to be drilled to be secured. Also, for most installations, the installer will have to cut off the factory battery terminals and crimp/ solder on cable extensions. The extensions are included in the kit.

For those that have trucks that are not ATRAC equipped or those that desire to utilize the passenger side space for other components, the side-by-side system is a very solid choice. For everyone else, the split system is the way to go.

Compressor is slow as hell. I can go from 15 to 35psi in under a minute a tire on co2

air tank paired with twin ARB not much longer lol.
I just find the hassle of needing to refill the tank to be a pain in the ass. I know one guy I wheel with has a tank and it usually last him 4 months. It does last a while but still a bit of a pain to refill. Not even sure where the hell you can refill one around me. He gets it refilled from the shop he got it from but that's a 3 hour drive one way for me.

might as well use the CO2 tank you already have.. just disconnect it from your EAF Kegerator, and air up dem tars! then reconnect, and enjoy a cold one while you marvel in all the manly shit you've accomplished that day.

I seriously think there is an "untapped" market here... Everyone will be "throwing up" their hands in joy...They will become "intoxicated" with the beauty of your fabricacy... Customers will be "drinking" out of the palm of your hand...
