My company just migrated us to Office 365, which moved my email "to the cloud". It's their laptop and system so whatever. When I followed the instructions to allow me to check email on my personal iPhone I get this notice below. I am salary so I don't always work set hours and not always sitting in front of my laptop. When I saw this I cancelled the installation.

Has anyone else experienced this? Does anyone else think this it's nuts to allow your company to access your personal information and delete anything they want? I just can't do it. I'll have to have a talk with my boss but I just wondered if anyone else has experienced this.

Are you using the Outlook iPhone app? If so, I can't say since for security reasons my company does not allow use of the outlook app for company email.
However, if you are connecting via the stock Mail app, I can say I did not have to install any profile when syncing my email up after going to office365
