Does anyone have access to about 800 mouse traps? :D

Oh, and 800 ping pong balls to set on top of the traps?

That would be enough to cover the two desks in his office. We considered doing the floor as well, but we would need another 3000 traps. At $0.46 a piece that would get rediculously expensive.

That's a thought. I had considered turning it into a break room with a couch, tv, stereo, etc. The only problem with that is he might actually like it. Can't have that.

Let's see. Office with a door and a nice window beside it? Clear plastic pocket on the window and fill it with water bottles. Create a small "trap" that dumps bottles when the door opens. Did this to a guy that left for a month. Plus tossed a few hundred bottles in for good measure. Went over pretty well.

    Then there's always this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfXavAp0914

We're on the phone now checking with a distributor on the mouse traps.

The catastrophic event setting off all of the traps would suck, but that's life. We would probably setup the gopro to record him come into the office and as he's looking at the traps toss one last ball onto the pile and set them all off.

This hinges on the cost of the traps.

If your not real worried about a mess, you could get probably 20 give or take of the cheap shaving cream they have at the dollar tree (the white foam that expands) and break off the tops, it will all expand and fill the room, they will have fun with it for a good while,i would recommend doing it the day before he gets back because i dont know what happens after it sits for a while(if it liquefies or not images_60c8d2a5f882b2b0344baa1cbaca9b13750247ed.jpg

or if you want to go a little less messy, saran wrap everything and then take a heat gun too it, it will harden, i dont believe it will mess anything up

Ok, we've found a distributor that will sell us the traps for $0.38 a piece. I found the dimensions and redid my calcs. We will need 500 traps to cover the two desks. That's about $200 in mouse traps. There are several folks here that will contribute.

This is the front runner idea at the moment, but don't let that stop you coming up with new ideas.

Done that. We took everything out of the "business card office" and took each item to a different part of the building. We basically made a scavenger hunt out of the items in her office. We left her a cart and a single note that lead her to her first item. :)
