    I went upstairs and talked with the owner about the prank. He's very understanding about these things. I showed him the receipt for the foam and he was a little shocked to see the number. I had written down our affiliates overhead charge code on the receipt because their owner agreed to pay for half, and the owner of my company decided that he couldn't be one upped so he agreed to pay for the other half!!!!!!!!

    I just submitted an expense form with a total charge of $867.96! All I have to pay for now is the plastic and packing tape. :bananadance:

    $867.96 with shipping on the foam

    $ ??.?? for the plastic
    $ ??.?? for the packing tape

    Some things are just worth it, but if you'll read my post above the company is covering the cost of the foam.

    That is one badass company to let you write up an expense report for an office prank.

    Hence the reason I haven't looked for a job in the past 5 years. They have been really good to me and I've learned a lot.

    My company is a small oil and gas contractor. I am a licensed civil/structural engineer. When I started with the company there were 27 people in the Houston office, and there are now over 200. I did good to get in early and grow with the company.

    I got the shipping number, we will have foam Friday!!!!

    Oh, and I'm offshore right noww waiting on the derrick barge to show up and install one of my skids. They were supposed to have been tied up alongside at midnight, guess what, they're still not here. Bastards!

    I don't want to miss my fishing trip Saturday.

    I was able to get one of the admins to unlock his office today. We needed a master key to do it.

    My measurements were a little conservative when I estimated the size of his office. The floor and walls come out to 766 sq. ft. so the 1200 sq. ft. kit should cover everything just fine. We have a good amount of prep work to do before we can start spraying. All of the items on his desk and walls will have to come down and be stored. I'll probably head out and buy the plastic today.

    I've looked at using this stuff for insulating my crawl space, since you're using this for an incredible prank, would you mind sharing some other info about the application? :D This way you could just tell him it was research! Just looking for basics, ease of application, coverage, that type of crap. Thanks!

    Subbed for pics!
