We are building a new 30000 sq ft shop at my place of employment. My office overlooks the entire project so I decided to set up my camera for a time lapse slide show. Our GM is notorious for walking around our 5 acre yard "managing" so I snapped a photo of him standing in front of the construction site smoking and 'shopped him into EVERY shot, moving his location slightly and changing the color of his shirt. One shot per hour x 6 weeks from breaking ground to lock up. I plan to run the slide show in our production meeting at the completion of the project.

Prior to construction when had a major yard clean up. We had several old tanks that had been taking up space for years. The GM took these tanks and put them on the owners trailer with a big sign marked "FREE". That night we came in and unloaded all the tanks onto the ground and hid the trailer in the shop. The GM was on his way to tell the owner that he'd "given" away the trailer when we finally let him in on the joke!

We're going to get started tonight after work. I'm hoping to get everything removed and to get started on the plastic.

The plastic is up. Tomorrow evening we'll put the foam down. I'll be sure to bring the gopro in to record the process.

Here's a pic to keep you interested.

Here are some better shots of the plastic. I used a can of "great stuff" foam to write our names on the desks. We'll see how that comes out when we cover them with the real foam.

Make sure you cover the return air grille!!! You don't want that crap getting into the HVAC system!!

Good looking out. I'll be sure to cover it while we're spraying. The fumes are supposed to be gone in an hour according to the manufacturer, we'll see if that's really the case.
