    -La Sal Pass

    We headed for the hills for some snow, aspen trees, creeks and no bugs on Saturday. We hit both passes and a side lake where we ran into the same Chris mentioned before. Funny details on all that since we ran the same trail he got stuck on after and encountered the same guy that helped him unstuck. I'm sure my compadre @BigFishAllDay will do a better write up than I ever could but here are a few pics from as far as we made it and then a killer view on the way down.

    Behind the rocks is in the distance to the left, knife ridge into moab visible through the scrub oak.

    Looking back up at the La Sals...By the way this is a fairly rough road. Not technical at all but steep for a long time and bump so admittedly it was slower traveling than I expected which was just fine.

    Geyser Pass-

    Much faster easy road with some snow at the end. I couldn't try because my locker solenoid started leaking and rear locker wouldn't engage. But I could still winch my buddy out. Funny thing is that right when we drove up into it this guy came walking up with a shovel. Said he'd been helping people all day and obv last guy there was the other Chris who we'd run into just earlier. The guy helped shovel out BFAD's diff and tires and was anxious to help. Of course we were fine and he was just as much into the fun.
