And yes, made it up the chutes on my 295s. Required F&R lockers and I almost put my passenger door into a rock.

Well Brett said he needed f/r on smaller tires...so I'd garner to say at least a rear. Guess there's always a winch option if you want to drag through a cliff edge lol?

 

I'm hoping to have a rear locker by then but we will see how it goes.

 

I ran it open a few years ago, no issues, but you are about 2' longer so break over is probably going to work against you there.

 

Will for sure have skids and stuff done by Moab this year so hope it won't be too much of an issue. But we will see. If everything stays on track there will be lots of changes to the truck before Moab.

 

Any word on the dates for RT 2017?

 

Been waiting for a while. If it's in September I'll most likely be able to go.. as long as it isn't the last weekend

 

The last couple year it's been something like the end of May/beginning of June. I'll be out of school and I've never been to Moab before. Definitely interested in going.

 

Last I heard they were doing it in September no final dates though

 

Hopefully we'll find out soon. Dates will probably posted before the end of the year.

Oct? I think you all are pulling months out of your hat now. I don't remember them taking about it being that late but we will have to see when gramps and Jace and bob pipe in

 

Definitely in the FALL for sure but I dont know that anyone has decided on a month yet. Early august will be too hot, late August may not be but September and October would be better weather.

 

its been talked about over and over. its not going to be end of may/first on june anymore. Bob went to Moab in October to get a feel on how its going to be at that time.

 

Well if RT is going to be in Sept/Oct then I'm probably out of luck. I'll be consumed by school during then.

We went up the week before that and it was beautiful weather...foliage still turning and highs in the low 80s high 70s. away from the busy season too...i know many of us are looking forward to the change...i hope others are as well..
