It looks great! I was messing around with that 2 years ago or so and you could easily tell where the photos were stitched together. I forgot all about it until your picture.

You'll be slow as hell until we hit the border with that trailer though! Haha

If all goes well (it probably won't), I'll have a trailer too by then!

I have the decision to make to either finish skidding up my 4Runner and get a front bumper, or build a trailer. Money is the issue...

    Trailer would probably be cheaper

Also getting a ring this year. Goodbye 3 months income...

I use "Panorama 360" on my Droid and the photos are great and hard to see the stitching. Plus it gives you "boxes" on the screen to go by to get everything you want to in sections.

Hahaha yeah the trailer will make me a little slower but it will be awesome. Can't go wrong with either of those options for better armoring your runner or building a trailer. Dude that's awesome about you getting engaged soon! Hey man, money is money. You can always go make more. Just be smart about it! One piece of advice that I have is don't start off your marriage or engagement in debt or low money in the bank because of a ring. Of course you want the ring to be nice but it's the sentiment that counts not the amount of money you spend on it. I was very lucky, my wife grew up in a $15,000,000 home on the beach in Redondo Beach and she didn't want me to buy her an expensive ring. I think I spent around $3000 on it and she loves it. I don't know your girl or how she is but have that talk. My buddy just spent $15,000 on his fiancées ring and I'm like holy crap I could find a lot better stuff to do with the extra money.

    Holy shit... 15k! haha.

I don't think my girlfriend cares. I do though. 3k is a decent amount. The 3 months pay is an old scam ;) lol.

We are just finishing up school (finally). This year is gonna be rough with work and such, but I already alerted them I need time off in either may or June for RT! haha

I have 52 more hours of being a student then I am free forever to actually make money instead of throwing it in the fire known as UCSB...

My girlfriend and I got lucky and due to our parents and scholarships, we are pretty much debt free. Motto is always pay cash for toys. I always buy trucks and their accessories with cash.

This thread is killing me! I want to hit moab so bad. Or just go on another adventure soon! Hopefully this summer has some good plans in store.

Yeah dude! Expensive haha. Well that's cool that you have a girl like that. Agreed the 3 month pay thing is dumb haha. Well congrats on sticking through it all with school, I commend you on that. That's awesome the resources you were able to utilize to stay debt free. I know a lot of people in a lot of debt from school. And that's a great way to pay for that stuff. Buying on credit is a scary hole haha. Yeah man I wish I could have made RT this year too but like you said hopefully this summer has some fun trips in store. Maybe we'll meet up on a trip one of these days

Man I wish. My better half is working on finishing up school and had Clinicals all week. So with her leaving for the week, kinda sucked up our trip money for the month and I had al the kiddo's too. So I took some time off from work and spent it with them. It was some good family time.

I think I spent about 300 on the wifes 1st ring (cause I was super broke), but spent about $4500 on the upgrade. It is all about the principal and sentiment of the promise you make. She still rather wear the old one, because it means more to her.
