    Exterior application question: Considering this for the tailgate. Purchasing mobtown tailgate skin. Looking to perhaps place this product on the inside of the tailgate outer skin- similar to a door application. Is this viable? Any thoughts/comments are appreciated, thank you.

    I have never done anything like that before but i don't see why not. Some people place this under the hood's to reduce the vibration there so... I'm sure one can if you really want to. The thing is, it is so far back, i don't see how its going to make enough noise to bug some one enough to do it.... but again, i don't have direct experience with your issue so i cant comment specifically on that.

    Im not sure about the dents.... but i will say it will make the tail gate feel way more solid and not have that tinny sound every time you close it.... so at the end of the day its up to you my friend. This is a first for us

    Well with how solid the doors sound now I think it would work awesome. It's just the fact that your putting 30$ of sound deadening into it. But then again I spent a 100$ on metal plate for it. :D
