I don't know who this guy is but he seems to be at every single game year in and year out home and away. I love that look on his face after last night's shellacking.

    First of all, Roll Tide!

Bama pushed the winning streak to 7 games against La State, but damn it was a costly win. Two more linebackers out for the season. I'm waiting by the phone for a call from Saban to suit up. We're getting really thin. We get MSU next, then Mercer. Maybe the new guys will use these two weeks to learn fast and get ready for the Iron Bowl.

    Sorry.

    Yup.

Congratulations to you guys. If y'all take care of auburn this weekend and we beat Miss. State, then we'll see you there!

I thought the same thing about Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson. The NFL is a different beast. We have a few holding there own now... Henry is doing pretty well with the Titans, and I'm watching Kenyan Drake w/ Miami on SNF right now. Still, RB is a tough transition and the guys who you THINK will be studs don't always work out.

True, only time will tell. I think a lot depends on who they get drafted by. I.e., anyone to the Browns will likely struggle haha.

Trent Richardson had almost a 1000yd rushing season with the Browns.

It always seems to be the guys from lesser known schools who come out and crush it in the NFL.

Kareem Hunt, went to what, Toledo or some shit.

Yep, perfect example I can think of is Chris Johnson. Dominated the league in his first few years and came out of East Carolina!

But then there are guys who you just know are elite...above just being studs in college. Adrian Peterson, Barry Sanders, Bo Jackson pre hip injury, etc. I think Saquon is on that level of natural ability. Only time will tell what he will do though.

I honestly think its a crap shoot, with regard to running backs in the NFL.

Add in all the little things that can have an effect like: Injuries, O-line staffing, O-Coord mindset, people they associate OFF the field, baby mamas....

Just one of those topics can break you in the NFL. Let alone, multiples stacked up.

    Crap shoot for sure.

I mean, Adrian Peterson could have broken all KINDS of records.....

Now, he's damn near close to retirement, after a record setting knee injury comeback, and sitting on the bench, how much more does he have left really?

Dude looks good in Arizona, but, I'd say one more ACL and he's probably done.

I was just in a meeting at work. When it broke up, I was left in the room briefly w/ three auburn grads/fans.

One of them said... "I think we beat UGA this weekend, then of course ULM, then we'll beat Bama at home, then beat UGA again in Atlanta."

I was waiting for the laughter and it never came. They started talking about how that scenario was a legitimate possibility.

*Some* auburn fans are completely delusional.

Our game against them only makes me nervous because we play at their house. If we were at home it’s a different story.

In regards to them being cocky I get that a lot from their fan base, one reason I hate AU. Although I’m told we have that same type of fan base. I know we do have some delusional fans that scream NC before every season.

I do get that we don’t have the history on our side so we don’t get the respect, but I figure that’s from people who don’t/haven’t watched us. Admittedly I have seen much of them either this yr but I am somewhat familiar with what’s going on with them. We just need to play our game and keep Fromm from having a freshman like performance. He’s proving himself but I’m still worried playing on the road in a SEC environment.

For them to say they’ll beat us once in their house is one thing, but to say again in a neutral site is another. I’m not one to talk smack so I’ve not let anything anyone says get to me this year, just enjoying the ride. Moreso enjoying what the future holds for us with the way Kirby is coaching and recruiting. We could be relevant for a long time to come, anyone that can’t or doesn’t see that is either blind or just a very uninformed fan. I’m just waiting for an AU DB to say how we can’t pass to help with locker room material.

We have played well there recently, think we have taken 4 of last 6 at Auburn or something. And one of those losses was was the prayer at Jordan Hare in 2013, which I watched in disbelief before sulking out of the stadium to drown in whiskey.

Of course we have won straight against Auburn in Athens, and home is always preferable.

ESPN has decided previous playoff losses don't count

According to them Baker Mayfield has 15 straight road wins and is the greatest QB to walk the earth...this year...
