If a top 4 Clemson and Miami play a close ACC Championship and Clemson wins, will Miami stay in top 4?

As bad as I hate to say this, we have some idiotic fans at UGA. Every time we have a loss everyone has the answer. Seen so many on FB and even on local sports radio saying how we should’ve had Eason in the game. I mean really? You think Eason was goin to fix what happened yesterday? Our lines, both O And D got outplayed. Fromm did his part imo. But not being able to run the ball, dumb penalties, dropped balls, and some sloppy tackling all contributed to getting hammered.

I do agree that the play calling was bad. I know we want to run the ball but damn. It wasn’t there so we needed to change it up. Everyone we’ve played has had the same mentality to try to stop the run and make us beat them with Fromm yet it seemed the staff was afraid to put too much on him. But the way he likes to get rid of the ball quick could’ve helped us.

With that said I just never imagined this team not being up or prepared for a big game like that. Idk if it was the rat poison? Maybe the fact the starters played the whole game last week and aren’t used to it? Either way I would’ve expected that from Richt, not from a Kirby team after the year we’ve had.

If we are just like Saban/Bama then Kentucky is in for it Saturday.

I would have liked to have seen Eason midway through the third, personally. Down 20+ and they still refuse to even attempt to take shots downfield. I don’t know if it’s lack of confidence in the receivers or in the QB. I feel like everyone’s eyes were on the backfield...so put the kid in with the big arm, get back to running the I formation, run some legit play action, and sneak the tight end down the seam.

A few screens would have been great, too. With as much pressure as they got, sneak the back out in a slip screen and get them the ball in space. Considering there were 6-7 people in the backfield at all times, someone would have made someone miss.

Next to no one will win a game when you're getting beat at the line of scrimmage on both sides of the ball. I think Eason brings a deeper ball to the game, but I'm not saying that in the tone he should've played. If the QB is getting hit in the mouth almost every play, it doesn't matter. Fromm did what he could and I think he's a better QB for the team as it is now. Hopefully this lights a fire under the dawgs asses, and they GATA from here on out. I find it hard to believe a good Auburn team is that much better than UGA.

I agree we needed some screens mixed in there. I know Eason can throw it farther but we didn’t have time to get them downfield and his inaccuracy and holding the ball too long would’ve played into their hands even more I thought.

But that was my point, the line play cost us the game, not the qb.
