I’m not worried playing them in Charlotte, in Miami it would be something to witness.

I'm still around. No cutting and running here. I come and go from the thread depending on a lot of things, but not based on Bama losing or winning.

I don't know how confident I am in the Iron Bowl. Our linebackers are decimated and it took us 3 quarters to pull our shit together against MSU. The 4th quarter of that game was the Alabama I'm used to watching.

auburn is playing REALLY well. I wouldn't bet money on the game. That's for sure.

I think Clemson beats Miami in the ACCC. I'll admit I haven't watched much of Miami this year, but it seems like they're good but not "there" yet.

Just been busy with work. Its no secret that the LB corpse for Alabama is really the anchor of our defense. With it depleted, it has become a large chink in the armor for run stop. I'm not sure what Pruitt and Saban have up their sleeve for Auburn. If they don't coach up the current LB's, and get it right in a couple weeks, Auburn will be the national champs this year, if they continue to play to that level.

I truly thought Stidham was a joke. He seems to have matured a bit and gained some confidence. Also seems to be making really good decisions with the ball, not taking sacks, not throwing into bad situations. Not sure if that is play calling, or his decision making skills developing. Everything on offense builds off of the run, so, if Auburn is running well, the pressure is off of him, and I'm sure he is confident in that circumstance.

Alabama will have to pressure him. Just confusing him wont be enough. they will have to make him sweat, and put him in 3 and long situations. Not sure the D-line is going to be able to do that without help from LB's.

It's going to be a tough game for sure. I wish we had healthy LBs, but that's how it goes in football. I'm going to be an anxious wreck leading up to and during that game.

Meh, Alabama has been quite vanilla offensively this year (especially). I expect an L from the plains.

It was really frustrating that in the MSU game, near the end, Bama was running sweeps and gaining 7-11 yards PER PLAY with running backs, multiple plays in a row, wearing OUT that MSU defense, but then they decided to do designed RPO or run plays for Jalen Hurts........ WTF?

blah. If your defense cant stop the run, your offense better be able to score at will. Alabama hasn't really shown that ability to score at will consistently this year. And now, they showed that they have an issue with stopping the run.

Saban is probably the only coach who can shore up the defense in two weeks time, but, I dunno man. I wasnt impressed with the development that the 2nd and 3rd string should have gotten through experience in lopsided games this year.

Find it funny that of all the talk on FB and such that AU fans are saying we’re going to lose to UK and how overrated we are. Funny that they better hope we win out and move back up a bit in the standings if they do face us again. They’ll need help to make the playoff with 2 L’s.

Not if they're #6, beat Bama, and beat UGA again. I don't see a scenario in which the SEC Champion isn't in the final 4

You mean if the champion wins out right? Because Georgia could blow it to tech and win the sec and I see the sec being out lol. I just want the other top teams to win out like Wisconsin and Miami and whatnot so that if auburn beats alabama, alabama can't weasel into the playoffs.

While I guess it could possibly happen, it would have to be a crazy set of circumstances for the champion not to get in.

Correct, but crazy things have happened. I mean heck, if enough teams lose, and auburn wins out...auburn and bama can both go. Screw that lol

Hence the need for a real playoff :stirthepot:, as anyone with common sense sees this...imagine the playoffs starting the 1st weekend of December, top seeds get home field advantage, no more lay-off 4 weeks excuses , and all the teams- whether hot or cold get a shot at the title :burp:

Unless Gus is gonna Gus and we lose to ULM, then win the rest of the games including the SEC champ. ULM has top 20 Total Offense they have been scoring 40+ points every game. I feel more confident about beating Alabama than I do ULM lol

For Auburn to win the National Championship we would have to beat #1, ULM, #1, #5, then #1 again, and then AGAIN....#1

That is 4 #1's in the matter of 6 games
