oh and to add to this, commonly do I see Alabama fans PROUD that they knocked a player out on the other team with injury.

FSU QB to be one example. Proud they "ruined" FSU's season with that injury.

1. The title claim argument has been played out. Some of them are awarded, and the NCAA states Alabama should claim. Some of them Alabama claims without reason. Admitted. However, nobody wants to ever talk about the titles that Alabama SHOULD actually BE claiming, that they dont.

2. As far as coaches leaving or being fired... there will always be speculation, and there has actually been speculation that coaches leave the West and go to the East to get away from Saban. It's speculation at best and will never be confirmed, but....it IS possible.

3. I'm not sure, but as far as being a dumpster fire, I'm pretty sure that is just as cyclical as success. I'm not sure that any team in recent history has sustained success like Alabama has.


I'm not being boastful. Alabama wholeheartedly doesn't deserve to be in the playoff, as they will not have won their conference. I can take the loses with the wins, and admit defeat. Auburn spanked our heiny this year. We didnt "beat ourselves" like a lot of Bama fans will try to push. Auburn won that game.

Why does everyone want to immediately discredit Alabama's success though?

Wow, never heard that one before. I mean, I distinctly remember hearing commentators state in the past that Alabama teams could run with the Cleveland Browns....but even that was far fetched.

 

Name the titles Alabama doesn't claim they should, with evidence. Please. Just because the NCAA looks back and says "eh sure you can claim it" if your team WASN'T EVEN IN THE DAMN GAME how can you claim it proudly?!

also, I don't discredit Alabama's success. What they've done, what Saban has done is HISTORIC. I said it before Alabama fans even did, when they still thought "Bear" was better than Saban.

I do however, discredit success that isn't actual GAINED success. If you are "gifted" it by 1 writer, or 1 newspaper, or 1 poll from the 30s but nobody else agrees....sorry, that doesn't count.
