Great Rose Bowl game. Congrats Dawg Fans. Anybody want to jump in my Tacoma with me and go put a "For Sale" sign in Gus Malzan's yard?..........WAR EAGLE.

 

I have to admit I thought it was over at half. I kept saying to myself get to half within a score or so and we’d adjust and make a game of it. When OU went up 17 I thought it was over. Didn’t think we’d come back from that. Just proves yet again the hellacious job Kirby is doing keeping these guys focused.

 

The players have more respect for Kirby than that fella called Mark.

 

How on earth was that not interference?

That may go down as one of the best Rose Bowl games in history.

A buddy of mine and myself went to a bar down the road and we left at half time. Did not think we could of come back after being behind 17. Hats off to OU for a great game. Looks like I'm in the market for a ticket next Monday. Good thing I already asked work for it.

 

I still can’t believe it! After 37 years of disappointment, heartbreak, and letdowns we’re playing for a National championship! I was 11 years old when UGA won its last championship and to be honest didn’t appreciate it like I should’ve being so young plus the fact that college football just wasn’t as big back then. Plus I was way more a Falcons fan and watching college was just more football to entertain me until Sunday’s.

Somewhere in the 90’s I became aware that I loved college football better than the pros and really started taking UGA football to heart and became hungry for a legit team. Took a long long long time but here we are!

I’m filled with so much pride right now and in awe at what Kirby is doing with this team. Even the Falcons playing in the Super Bowl last year doesn’t compare to this for me.

Sorry for the long post, just so emotional right now. Love my Dawgs!!!

 

I’m guessing that game may be considered an instant classic by some.
Unless you got an inside man, be ready to pay big time for a ticket.
A friend of mine works security at the stadium and is supposed to be hooking me up with a pair for a stupid low price. I’ve been in his ear since the SEC title game. Here’s hoping that it works out. Good luck on your ticket hunt

 

What pisses me off as an Athenian and life long Dawg fan is Richt’s new found “FIRE” at Miami. Where was that the last 15 years. Glad that dog is gone.

Mark never stood up for his players or got in that ass when they needed it. Kirby gets in that ass. I had NO use for Mark Richt I am glad he is gone.

Eh, I started the early part of this year feeling the same way but kept waiting for him to Richt it which he ultimately did big. He is a great guy and I wish him luck as long as it doesn’t come at our expense and sure hope he doesn’t bring them a championship before us. But at win or lose at least we made it to the show before him and it’s got to shut up the ones that kept saying he should still be here.

 

And just like that the playoff committees heads explode with an all SEC championship game. Next thing we see is "Effective immediately, the playoffs have been expanded to 8 teams"

Dear good God almighty.

What a game.

I lose my voice, got a busted lip, might have had a heart attack and died a couple times.

That replaces the 2012 SECCG as the best game I’ve ever seen.

Shout out to OU. Hell of a game. Mayfield was caught saying it was over after our missed FG. Bellamy told him to humble himself after the game loved it.

What I want to know is WHY THE HELL DID WE PASS THE BALL IN THE FIRST HALF AT ALL?!? Look at this stat...


Why would you pass??? Also, Chubb/Michel is the most prolific RB duo in FBS history after tonight. And they finally both rushed for 100+ in the same game. First time that’s ever happened.

You can say the SEC is down and they haven’t performed in the bowls...but it’s an all SEC national title game.

That was a hell of a game. Glad we were mostly healthy... It really showed.

Shout out to UGA for winning the Rose Bowl, too. It's going to be hard to wait a week for the NC.

 

And Gus aka idiot gets to watch the two teams he beat go to the Championship. It is going to be a long week until the Championship game. Judging by the way both teams played last night UGA will win the championship unless Alabama gets help from some one sided play calling.

 

Clemson you let me down.

Quality of life here in Alabama goes down at least for this week lol.
