    when he's healthy :(

    he'll go high though.

Guice and Key can both change the game on their own in NCAA.

Both really great talents. Guice never got the recognition he deserved nationally. If Key would have had someone opposite of him on defense, he'd have been unstoppable. Just have to run plays away from him now though...

you're right. and guice still never really had the passing game to balance with him. the struggles of LSU. they churn out NFL talent that never truly shines in college. it may be different at this moment, but I know beginning of the season LSU had the most starting NFL players...how on earth does a school produce that and not have success in college? oh yeah, coaching..

Well, I have to agree whole heartedly, but Louisiana also became a hot bed of talent that Alabama, Clemson and other schools have pillaged.

Otherwise, Guice would have had top notch receivers for balance and Key would have had a partner in crime on the other side of the field to create that "Pick your poison" situation.

I'm not sure why Les Miles squandered what he had. Complacency? I dunno. Seems like the type of coach players want to play for. Issues with coordinators and position coaches?

the pillaging really didn't affect anything though, since LSU still put out the highest NFL numbers. Louisiana just has so many players.

No QB development at LSU hurt, because look at the receivers that have come out of there. Hell, look at DJ Chark. He'll be a star, but never had a QB at LSU to toss to him. LSU has had the receivers/tight ends/RBs for talent every year. It's no coaching and no QB development that hurts them.

    Yeah, Chark is quite dynamic.

Typically, Purdue transfer QBs do well at other schools.

Even Brandon Harris was like the #3 Dual Threat QB out of high school and he was a flop. Just no development in years at the QB position. The other positions have been fine just going off of talent.

Thankfully LSU has kept Dave Aranda away from the hands of Texas A&M. Lawd have mercy at his contract though.

Pretty cool pics. I hate that we have to wait until Monday for the game!

I've stayed at that Westin. It sucks.

That’s where I work at. I took some pictures the other day and meant to post on here, just been trying to get one of the final wrap on the building. I know some if not all of the ESPN staff is staying at the Westin and some of the ncaa/CFP committee. We have a brunch Sunday morning in banquets, for ten people, where It’s a meet and greet with Kirk Herbstreit. I may have to leave the leave kitchen and go check on the food, in the room. I think it would cool to meet him.

    Congrats man, that's awesome!

I have seen 1 of Alabama's last 4('11 in New Orleans) in person and it was incredible! If me and the wife weren't expecting our first sex trophy and getting the nursery put together I would have prolly tried to figure out a way to go to this one! Enjoy it win or lose man, its a great experience like no other game!

Sorry to be so harsh about your employer! No offense. I think it was a problem with expectations vs. reality (given previous experience w/ Westin and W hotels), and I might have gotten a 'bad apple' room that stay.

Thanks. I’m seeing this as a once in a life time opportunity. Yes, I do hope and plan on seeing UGA in this spot in the future, but first time in 37 years, and the fact I will never spend what most people are spending on a ticket. Maybe at face value, but that would still be a hard pill to swallow. I’m stoked beyond belief and I’m expecting a hell of a game and night.
