And I'm sure Bama is shaking in their boots. Vandy says they're next. I know Vandy is playing some good defense but really? Fans and players both saying they want Bama?

And don't take this the wrong way but I've seen a lot of Miss St talk of FB and how this game won't be close. While this game does make me nervous, I don't see them blowing us out. Both defenses are good. I'm uneasy about our o line and play calling. I see this as a 4th quarter game. Who's gonna come up with the big play late being the difference.

And don't get me wrong, I'm glad for personal reasons we play late but how did Bama/Vandy beat our game out for the SEC game of the week on CBS?

Speaking of CBS, just read that AT&T and Direct tv are having contract dispute and may lose CBS effective tomorrow. If they drop them I'll be looking for a new provider.

TacoDawgfan....my 2cents- the Georgia Bulldogs are a very good team, not only at home but on the road (ask Notre Dame). I hope y'all don't run the score up on us! I'd like to come to a game between the hedges one day.

Good luck this Saturday, and I hope both teams are injury free!

They can show a team 5 times max on CBS. The UGA/UT game will be CBS (if we win this week), UGA/awburn, UGA/UF as always. Bama is the biggest ratings draw, and the matchups this weekend aren’t typically games you want to see. This will be the first time Vandy has ever been featured on the CBS GOTW. Thwy wanted to give them some love while they could. Lol.

I don’t think you’ve got to worry about us running the score up. Have you seen our offense? Anemic is a good way to describe it.
Hopefully we run the ball and keep fromm to ~15 pass attempts.

I agree we shouldn't be able to run up the score. I'm just hoping we are able to run the ball effectively and play mistake free. If we can do that our defense should keep us in the game. I just don't have that much confidence in our offense yet.

And i believe the game times were set already for this week before Ms. State beat LSU, it wasn't as intriguing of a matchup before that

Word is the seniors are asking for a blackout against Miss St.

I don’t really care if they black out the stadium, but damnit, I love the black Jerseys. They just look so good.

Heard MSU is going to be in all white so we should be doing the black out. I still think it's cool just having the stands all blacked out anyway. But if not everyone should be in red. I just like it better than having red and black mixed in the stands.

I don't have an issue with Kirby at the helm doing blackouts, I feel confident he'll have them ready to play. Richt on the other hand (after the fact) left me feeling that they weren't coached up only using the black jerseys as motivation.

Even during last weeks game I felt the team went a little lackadaisical after going up 21-0 then it seemed like they turned it back on again. Don't know that that was Kirby but a Richt team would've played down to them at that point and struggled to hold on. Point being I'm feeling that Kirby is keeping them level headed. Even seen a much cleaner game last week after a ton of penalties against Notre Dame. Albeit just being Samford.

I may just be being a homer, but games like the ND game are the ones a Richt coached team wouldn’t have won.

Former UGA safety that transferred to MS says he expects t “beat the brakes” off of UGA...

Also, Todd Grantham is the DC for MS, and I think we all remember what happened last time we went against one of his heralded defenses.

I feel like this is a better unit than what he's had elsewhere. Too many people are saying that about how we ran all over them when at Louisville. Hope we can do it again but not expecting it. Plus it seems they don't want to run Chubb enough. He is most effective after 20+ carries and we keep spreading the run among the 3 and beyond.

Hope I'm worried about nothing but this game has me uneasy.

No I’m definitely worried. Easily a game we could lose. And 100% a game we would lose under mark Richt. We’ll see how Kirby does under the bright lights.
