We just switched to PlayStation vue. The cloud DVR is pretty cool. I made sure it had fs2 for these cases. The races were awesome. That comeback by Tomac was great. Dungey must have been pretty pissed that Tomac was able to catch him and then check out.

Not sure if you guys have checked out fox sports go but that usually works if you don't get fs2 in your package.

If there was one round for anyone to watch this year it was this weekend in Salt Lake. Quite possibly the best display of talent in the sport I have ever seen between Tomac's Michael Jordan-like performance and Marvin Musquin making a hard charge to the front. 250s were very entertaining as well..too bad for Aaron and Austin on the bike-eating whoop. All in all though if I were to show someone who has never watched SX one race, the 450 main would probably be the one I would tell them to watch.

Tomac with a statement, this weekend. I can't imagine what that does mentally for RD.

I felt bad for Plessinger, for sure. I feel like he is the fastest rider on that coast but just makes too many mistakes (including bad starts in with that).

I do give Dungey credit for keeping his composure and also making quick and accurate moves off the start but yes Tomac made a statement... If only Kenny would not have destroyed himself, this second half of the season would have had some unbelievable finishes I am sure.

I would have paid boooku bucks to be at that race though this weekend for sure haha

Right? Actually it was an accidental click, and by the time I figured out what I had did it was too late.

But MAN, was Tomac on it. You weren't kidding. It wasn't close, not even a little bit. Almost reminded me of when Bubba was 1.6 seconds a lap faster then the field at Daytona a few years back.

Other then Jason Anderson, I don't think I even know where the anyone else finished. Oh wait, Grant and MM , 4th and 5th. But that's it.

    All Tomac.

Hills last corner pass to clinch the west championship was pretty awesome tho. Good on him.

I agree with this statement. We'll see how he does next year. Give him some time to grow up a bit, get back in race shape, I'm sure he will be a top contender next year.

Roczen and Tomac will be a race next year, assuming he recovers fully, or mostly. I feel like if Ken has another big accident and more massive surgeries, that will be the end of his young promising career. IDK if Tomac would have been able to run with Roczen with the way Ken started off the season.

The UFC fights didn't start till 10PM when the 1st race was supposed to start.
It sucks when you set it to record because you have a life on Sat night, and they put it on a different channel.

I just tried to record the UFC fights last night and got home this morning to watch them and it was the full Supercross...WTF. Is someone at FS1 or Dish Network playing shenanigans on my DVR???

Wow... Just wow! Pretty epic bar banging racing tonight! Lots of very aggressive riding... And what a night for Dungey. Gotta be super tough for Tomac. I guess it's not over til it's over! Really looking forward to Vegas.
Edit: just read Savatgy got docked 5 positions for the location he "re-entered" the track after his crash. From what I saw it looks like he kinda cut a corner of the track because he crashed into the next rhythm lane and didn't backtrack around the corner. That gives Jordan Smith the points lead going into Vegas

That wreck tomac had I think was just mentally devastating. It look like to me that he just kinda vave up a bit. He wasnt riding super aggressive after. Maybe it was just the conditions of the track that made him tone it down.

He didn't really seem like his usual self the whole night... he qualified 4th, struggled hard in his heat, and then when he went down it was like the last straw for the night. That track looked brutal.

I don't know about Marvin "messing up/ pulling over". I think if you have the chance to win, you win, but team strategy, contracts, $, championship, retirement, its a mixed bag. He prob did it for the greater good, and KTM but still IMO if you can win, you win.

I rewind his little mishap a couple times. It honestly looked like it was on purpose to me. There was nothing there to mess him up, looked like he hit the rear brake and skid a little.

I honestly think it was Musquins choice to give the race to Dungey... They were close enough for Musquin to see Dungeys pit board, which they showed said "U need to win". Marvin understands the importance of points for Dungey right now and they're good friends. Those extra 3 points may prove to be crucial next week.

Welp, just got back from Supercross yesterday at Metlife, as always amazing. Between Savatgy cutting the track and now losing the points lead because of it (was protested) and the craziness of the 450 main well worth it. We can all speculate but I can tell you in person, it was very evident that Musquin "made a mistake" to let Dungey pass him in the LAST LAP, I mean I understand the tactics and reasoning, but also conflicted in that it should be an individual race as well. Laughed at the riders commenting on the dirt, ya welcome to NJ, that's typical any day at Etown.

Is it against any rules to move aside to let a teammate by?

I thought the AM A had created a rule years back with the "Let Broc by" fiasco years ago... I can't remember all the details though.

It said '1 lap / Ryan'

2 different times Marv unusually took a hard look at the pit area. He knew he needed to pull over. It was painfully obvious, IMO. It is what it is. I don't care either way. Tomac has nobody to blame but himself, for his performance, so what Marv did was totally secondary, I think.
