Daniel Capron lists Capron & Avgerinos and Big Ten Conference as his employers on LinkedIn.

He lists Indiana University School of Law and U of Illinois Urbana-Champagne as his education.

Those pictures are of the same guy, but he's not a bammer. That's just some Georgia fan's conspiracy theory.

And the firm's website makes it looks like they're basically ambulance chasers. I don't know what work they'd do for Alabama.

My best guess would be Tosh Lupoi. He is already on staff as our LBs coach and is very familiar with Smart and Pruitt's systems.

this is kind of a long video and it's stats come from the nfl but would transpose rather seamlessly across the board. I've have often wondered why anyone ever tried to return a kickoff since the bumped the touch back to the 25 yard line, and if you can make it to the end of the video, there is a relatively rational alternative to the whole thing

Um. I mean, I get his point, but if the "possibility" of an onside kick being effective is valuable, then the "possibility" of a kick off returned for points is valuable as well.

I will admit, it would reduce a whole bunch of injuries and penalties (block in the back) if they would just start them on the 25 every time.

Kickoff returns have been deemed "the most exciting play" in football. To get rid of it is just asinine to me!

did you not make it to the end of the video? the alternative would be give the ball to the team that just scored (or opening for the half) on their own 30 and it be 4th and 10 or 15, giving an option to go for it an get a 1st down, but most would just punt the ball away

Oh....no it got pretty quiet...so I clicked out.

Either way....the danger of a kick return is still prevalent. Full speed collisions, whether they be squarely initiated or not, cause injury either from the collision itself, or the awkward way people fall. (I know, I'm mostly focusing on the safety aspect of it...).
