The heisman is ridiculous these days and no longer stands for anything close to what they say it means

    Fuck the heisman voting

X3 for me. They’re already eliminating people from the race based solely on their teams record.

Yep, and I think that's absurd.

I always liked him a lot. I thought he did a great job with the offense. I know I read nothing but good things about him. I think the year prior to him leaving Purdue (I think anyways) went after him hard but he turned it down. I heard after that he wanted to go to the SEC. So I am happy for him and hope he leads Miss St. to lots of success. I want to see him do well.

Haha that’s funny, I’ve been keeping an eye on Miss St games as well. Scores and updates. Ricky Rahne, PSU new offensive coordinator seems to be a lot like Moorhead. I think he taught Ricky quite a bit.

    Disagree

40 schools have at least 1 winner

In more recent years, it’s just been whoever ESPN anoints in Sept/Oct

You’d think a school where Heisman actually coached would get even the slightest attention

Deshaun Watson is the only Clemson player to be in the top 3...and he was snubbed in favor of Lamar Jackson because of a hurdle and Louisville leaving him in games when they’re up 4 or even 5 scores..

    Now take this year

Clemson’s top RB barely even gets a mention...yet here’s his stats compared to Snell and Derrick Henry from the year he won...Travis is compiling these numbers while playing Tua amounts of game time

And yes, I’m still bitter about Lamar Jackson winning it

I think we’re on the same page...I just think it’s more recent that it’s become a sham and a shell of its former prestige

Right around when Peyton gets shafted

I read the link on Dabo and watched the Clemson v Alabama game highlights for first time since being there live. I do remember the hype and thinking, who is Alabama... didn't Forrest play there? Watching it now, I notice Ingram and Spiller on the field- great backs. I was so frustrated the whole time Spiller was in Buffalo; excited when he went to the Saints, thinking he'll finally be able to shine. But they wanted a second coming of Bush and his best years wasted with injuries. Congrats to Drew Brees on yardage and 500 TD, here was his 400th

Idk, we haven’t looked all that good imo even though the scoreboard has made us look better. We have a lot of youth going into that hostile environment and after y’all coming off a loss and got some guys questionable.
