How can it be close when LSU losses to Florida though? And Georgia exposes the Gators for what they are.

This game is odd, due to Alabama not being tested (as some keep saying on TV & sports talk radio).

This can easily be 35-21 Bama. With Tua healthy and limited amount of turnovers.

did Georgia expose the Gators though? because LSU beat Georgia worse. so that's one of those 3 pointed triangles that you can't explain type thing. just how it fell on certain days in certain locations.

can't base what a team can do to another ONLY off who they beat. lot more goes into it than that.

If bama's rb carry the ball less than 20 times lsu may have a chance at staying in the game

I'm basing that, still, on the run defense I have seen from lsu primarily, and the caliber of our backs and o line and also our receivers ability to block down field... But it does hinge heavily on play calling, so who knows...

and the caliber that is able to be presented against the defenses that alabama has played.

I never make predictions, but I do get annoyed seeing predictions that have nearly zero merit behind them.

a team can have the highest powered offense in the nation, but if they haven't played a defense I still am not banking on them just doing willy nilly what they want.

I'm very hopeful, even if LSU loses the game, that they shut down some of the Tua cock-gobbling.

Bama should run the ball a lot, I think. We had 2 backs averaging 6-8 YPC against LSU, but our dumb OC decided to not run it anymore...

Tua moved to RB? also down to our 3rd string RB we have quite a bit of experience. A senior a junior a sophomore. So yeah they have proven themselves plenty they all have at least 1 ring that says so. I hate to sound like a broken record but swift and holyfield had 6 and 8 ypc against lsu and I dont think they are any better than our 3 guys and I believe our o line is better than Georgia's. I will take 6 yard runs every play all night long

yes but just because they averaged that during that day doesn't mean that bama will do the same. the game plan always alters a bit against different teams.

LSU was shutting Fromm down, that let the backs have some freedom. if you watch the game again, they weren't getting 6-7 yards a run as the average shows. they had a few break for 12-20 and then they had a lot in the 0-6 range. averages aren't always accurate.

if you'd like a play-by-play since you're so caught up on LSU vs Georgia, here you go: http://www.espn.com/college-football/playbyplay?gameId=401012310

Good points! I clearly forgot Georgia played LSU. We both know if LSU played Florida 10 times, Mike wins 8 or 9.

LSU is a beast, but I’ve never seen Alabama with an offense that was efficient passing and running. Some years Bamas offense was sluggish even against much less teams.

I’m not throwing shade at the LSUnation either, y’all whipped us.

I can’t wait to watch this game and the Georgia vs Kentucky matchup.

Ok if lsu gets more than 4 sacks and bama only carries 20 times there may be a chance

chance at what? that LSU is ACTUALLY better than the cupcakes bama has been playing? that the Georgia run game that averaged only 3.8 at the end of the game wasn't as great as you thought against LSU? that maybe you're worried Tua is going to actually get hit?

A chance at not being blown out by half time. Do you honestly think lsu won't concentrate as hard or harder on tua as they did fromm? Would that not set up an almost identical opportunity for bama's run game? Last time I checked even when you factor the plays from non starting RB from uga 3.8 x 3 is still a first down... (Averages I know) if tua gets hit in before half time I guess we may only win by 20 or so
