i'm not asking questions. i know how it works and have been watching college football for 35 years.

regardless of what you think or what anyone else thinks, the committee will probably put bama in the CFP even if they lose to UGA. that's just how it is. the only way that doesn't happen is if UGA blows them out of the water.

do you think people that watch baseball have this discussion? like don't they play like 7 games or something for the world series or what ever? so as long as you can beat the other team 4 times before they beat you 4 times you are definitely the best amirite? baseball would be way more fun if they let you carry the bat around the bases... roll tide

well I was trying to tie football and specifically this weekends games in since you know, relevance and such

 

baseball games are so long and boring that everyone is shitfaced by the end of the first game and don't care about the rest of them.

hockey has a best of 7 in each round of the playoffs too, but at least they fight and stuff.

I honestly don't see any conference game being close besides the SEC. The PAC12 game might be competitive, the BIG12 is a joke conference that has a better chance of having defense being played if the defensive units don't even step on the field, The BIG10 will be a blowout before the 2nd quarter, and the ACC shouldn't be a game after half.
