Lol we dont agree on it being right. 1 loss champs should get in over 1 loss non champs every day. Every day.

 

It's too bad nobody pays either of us to make that call.

 

Uga just gave it their best shot and lost. How anyone in their right mind thinks they should stay in the top 4 is incomprehensible.

You're right. Trust me, I'd rather see the playoff expanded or them actually just set the criteria to the best 4...but doing that is too opinionated so they have to have something to back it. Problem is they dont follow their own criteria lol. Even if Georgia is one of the best 4 I think itll be good for the committee to stick with their criteria and do Bama, Clemson, ND, and OU.

 

Let me clear this first. I like every UGA fan in this thread and enjoy talking to every one of them about football. But for some reason this just hit my ironic funny bone.

That makes it look better but man they really did struggle. . We had a lot of dropped balls that hurt too.

 

They use a lot, but they have to report which ones they use, and I dont believe that one has ever been reported.

You got me. We played with “nerves” tonight for sure. I also saw receivers looking for the DB before they secured the catch. Lot of coaching to do between now and the playoffs.

 

I go around to a bunch of sites and take some averages and more often than not alabama ranks below OU. It doesnt matter since bama is undefeated.

 

I think our strength of schedule got stronger towards the end with all the ranked teams we ended up beating but I honestly don’t care - too many other things in life to deal with.

 

Strength of Record is #1. As it should be, but gotta look at the difference in that and sos.

I'm still just wishing for an 8 team playoff..

 

I don’t think it should be expanded. These kids still have to go to school and they are young. I know DII teams do it but we’ve already played 13 games. If they expand it then they need to cut out some games in my opinion. I guess I’m one of the few that thought the old BCS wasn’t so bad. This one is OK as is. If we expand it then number 9 will whine every year. When does it stop?

 

Everybody always says that, that the next one out will whine. I dont think so. Look at the nfl, you dont win your games you dont make it. If you look at the rankings since the playoff began if you go back 8 teams you pretty much make it back to a 3 loss team being left out. Sorry, if you lose 3, you've got no room to whine.
