It should be. We are still a very young team. We lose some experience on D but it's next man up.

Looks like all our backs and receivers are coming back for sr years along with Sam.

LSU will also be losing experience on D, but I always trust Aranda to plug and play. Offense stays basically the same except for that #1 RB coming in, excited to see him.

For the lesser out of conference games you are looking at $120 a seat on average.
I used to go to the games quite a bit. But with my job I'm only home 40 days a year so I stay at the house as much as possible when I can.

Also, Henry had more yards and touchdowns than Fournette, and Fournette only had like what, 29 or 31 yards against Bama? The metric highlighted was yards per game, with isnt necessarily the best metric.

 

I fly out to go to catch a few live sports a year. The only one I can honestly say that’s better in person then on the tv is baseball.

Henry played 3 more games than Fournette. That's why yards/game matters along with average per carry, both of which Fournette won.

Derrick and Mark were not "freaks" in the sense that Lamar and Manziel were. Lamar and Manziel played QB/RB and I even think freaking receiver for their offenses. They didn't just do passing stats, that's why I didn't take the time to find all of their stats.

I had a buddy a while back that bought some special package on a BMW and he had free entrance into the BMW Classic that is held sometimes at Crooked Stick in Noblesville or Carmel Indiana. We were all going to head up there until he got fired like, one week before the tournament.

 

So, if Fournette had 2000 rushing yards in one game and sat out the rest, you'd vote him for Heisman over Henry? Yards per game dont really matter, if you dont score.

Derrick was a freak, he had a high top speed for such a powerful runner. Freaky. Squatting 600 pounds....Freak.

Mark Ingram was hitting linebackers and safeties. I think if you go back and watch some of highlights, you'll see that at that time, he was a freak.

 

Honestly, the freakiest running back at Alabama during all of that was Trent Richardson and then Alvin Kamara. I'm pretty sure Kamara couldnt pass a drug test, so he got pushed down the roster behind Yeldon, Henry and Drake.

 

when I initially said "freak" I meant by more than just their position. they were just game changers, ballers. irreplaceable.

Henry and Ingram were Bama typical plug and play RBs. sure, maybe they were larger than average and whatnot and had some good plays, but they were replaceable with another RB.

"yards per game don't really matter, if you don't score". so if one guy only gets his carries from the 2 yard line or shorter and say he rushes 50 times a season and has 50 TDs, but only 100 yards, you think that's more impressive than yards? ridiculous lol. yards per game and average per carry are easily the most important 2 for RBs.
