5 star center Bama native Clay Webb chose UGA over Bama and AU.

 

Bama flipped 2 5 stars over the weekend after the Heisman announcement....not sure if that is just coincidence or not. But taking a recruit away from Harbaugh made that one sweeter!

 

That was a big shocker. I would of put money on him staying home and going to Bama. Sam Pitman deserves a raise after pick up. He plans on enrolling this month and he will be able to practice with the team for the bowl game I believe.

 

From what I understood UGA has never gotten a recruit from Alabama that had offers from both Bama and AU.

 

The mispronunciation of Tua's name was embarrassing, but that's when I knew he didn't win. If that old shit-for-brains didn't bother to learn his name, he knew he wasn't going to have to say it again.

I can't argue w/ the results of the vote. I just hope he's able to stay healthy enough Tua make another run at it next year!

 

As a Hawaii boy myself I wouldn’t have been mad if Tua won but Murray was just crazy this season. I thought the same thing when he said his name wrong lol. Billy Sims cracked me up the whole time though.

Murray was irreplaceable to his team. Tua was a cog playing with studs, and likely loses against UGA. I’ve never really rooted against anyone to not win it before because I think it’s a trash QB award now, but I did a bit against him when they started campaigning for him in the title game last year. Riding the Tua train was akin to Favre retiring or not, get it off my TV.

 

Speaking of shit-for-brains... the auburn radio guys pronounced his name wrong during the whole iron bowl. You'd think they'd bother to give a shit while he curb-stomped their beloved Tigers, but I guess they're just that petty.

 

I don't disagree with the results strictly by mere numbers. However, the butthurt was strong with the past Heisman winners to not even have Tua on their ballot, much less top 3 or winning. Every OK and Barn past winners (plus a couple other trolls) didn't have Tua on their ballot. That just made them look like butthurt trolls rather than respected opinions of past winners.

 

For sure. He was clearly ballot worthy. Whether you had him 1, 2, or 3...doesnt matter but he deserved to be one of them. Stupid on their part.

 

Agreed. There were even some that didn't have Murray on their ballots. Just little troll a-holes in both cases.
