Official 2018 NCAA Football Thread

I'm so far removed from everything, having been overseas for the last 6 years, that I had no idea UCF did all that. I thought it was more along the line of passing snide remarks or poking fun on their part. All I catch of other teams is what's on my tv, a few minutes of SportsCenter on occasion or remarks you guys make haha
I'll never understand you guys' gang mentality with conference affiliation.

 

Well said. I do hate them more after playing them because it was dirty gameplay. I mean 3 unsportsmanlike penalties on them in the first quarter, and others not called. They were out for blood, sparing no expense. Surprised they didnt play Milton with his broke leg. Plus they're childish about the whole championship thing.

 

I am in no way a SEC homer. Florida and Alabama can lose 12 games a year and I would be a happy camper. I pull for some based on friendships and different experiences with them. If it's a game I dont care about at all like the South Carolina vs Virginia game I will pull for Carolina simply for SEC...but we all saw how that game went lol.

 

Overrated every year.

 

I actually pull for Miss State mainly for how @Bulldogs129 handles himself in here. A good fan can make me appreciate a team. Of course when they play LSU they are the scum of the earth lol

 

I want everyone to know that I use DIRECTV NOW and it's quality is tits compared to Sling, which I had used for the last 3 years. Having the four major networks again is nice. The only thing I wish it has is NFL Redzone.

 

I bet UCF still has a parade next week.

 

I actually had a friend tell me last night he changed to YouTube tv from direct tv now and likes it way better. Especially since it includes the local stations.

I appreciate the SEC splitting the money evenly to all 14 schools. Some definitely deserve more than others. So I support SEC schools winning as it puts more money in the pot. Many SEC schools do not like one another lol haha

 

I get all the locals with DIRECTV NOW, maybe there's blackouts in certain areas and he got caught in that. I'm gong to give it a few months and check YouTube out too.

 

Yeah CBS is the big one around here it doesnt provide. SEC games are always on CBS

Lol I feel like I'm a deterrent to pull for LSU because I like to stir the pot. I am a realist though so maybe that gives me a little cred

 

With Sling I was in blackout in Hawaii for Fox and NBC, the two networks they carry.

 

By that logic Texas should be your favorite team.

 

This game has me nervous. I have really have no idea how this game is going to go.

I haven't watched Texas play more than a few minutes, but I watched Georgia play Alabama and I thought Georgia was the better team- good luck

Lol I got no problems with Texas because of you, I just dont like em. If they're playing Bama, Florida, Ohio State, USC, Notre Dame...I'd pull for Texas.

 

You can’t complain about LSU’s defense missing players for one reason or another when UCF was missing their starting QB.

LSU won, but the rest just sounds silly.
