Adversity reveals character, and that was a poor showing of character last night by Alabama.

I take nothing away from Alabama with the second half game plan of different personnel, Tua can ball, Najee can ball, etc etc....but holy cow if the momentum wasn't swung immediately in Bama's favor by officiating in the second half.

That was 100% officiating in Bama's favor, if you say it was going both ways you're probably a Bama fan. Sorry, but a possible missed hold, maybe pass interference, does not even compare to the missed fouls against Bama that were utterly momentum swinging, and downright disgusting.

Georgia played a clean game, a great first half, but changed the game plan the second half in all the wrong ways.

Congrats to Alabama and all the fans, but my gosh please understand that those of us that hate it don't hate it because "we ain't you", we hate it because of the Alabama attitude of winning.

Well. Having Bryant-Denny stadium right outside of my office doesn’t help me in that sense.

One thing I want to know is where was Sony at the end of the game? He was making plays while Chubb was struggling and yet we kept running Chubb.

just pickin' bud, I'm sure life would suck as much in any other state when you're not a fan of the homer team.

Look at the bright side: Now you can go back and buy that Rose Bowl stuff... probably at a discount, too.

I think the final AP poll will be out today. They can't get the votes in quick enough to do it in real time like that.

They determined the national champion for many years, but yeah... less meaningful now.

Were you at Bama with Shula? I was there for Dubose last year, the two Fran years, then the first two Shula years. Dark times, man.

That sucks. I was there for 4 championships in my 5 years at UA as a student. Now I’m number 1 as an employee!

No, they look at outgoing classes/nfl draft and incoming classes and then redo the rankings. Texas won the nation championship in 2005 and opened 2006 3rd because they lost Vince Young and others.

so since this is the 2018 thread, I'm going to make a 2018 prediction.

    LSU goes 7-5 next year.

Losses to: Miami, Auburn, Georgia, Alabama, and either Arkansas or Texas A&M.

If they don't open with the hardest SoS next year something's up.
