I'm not racist, but that halftime show was HORRID. I like rap, but that was garbage. I would've rather had a rock halftime show than anything.

 

they score exactly as many TD's in the 2nd half as they did in the first, I would wager that the stats were pretty close actually, was there not an int thrown by UGA in the 1st and 2nd halves, actually I would say there were more/bigger plays offensively in the 2nd half, it just looks bad because all of bama's points came after the 1st half

 

No problem not liking it, I dont think there is much more you can do than get up there and rap tho, you cant really have dancers for his kind of music lol. I will say it was bland but me and my son had a blast watching it waving our arms like the crowd lol

I was referring to the rednecks that said "get that trashy thug off the stage and play some garth brooks or jason aldene" while cheering for that thug on Alabamas team #48. They dont want to hear one black man showcase his talent(he has sold millions of hits, may not be your style but Jason Aldene isnt exactly everyones style either) but will sit there and cheer for other black men only because they are on the team they happen to cheer for.

 

I mean, I don't think it was a race issue, but who knows.

For me it was a sucky music issue haha.

 

I am in a totally different part of Alabama than you too lol and I know these people personally...sadly.

ah gotcha. yeah I mean I had folks all over social media begging for a country artist instead, but I think it's just because of the crummy performance. had it been better I think everyone would've been fine with the rapping, nothing in regards to color seemed to matter.

 

How does one find out info on who the refs for the NC game were? I know I’ll catch shit for this but hearing rumors that the head ref is an Alabama grad. Before y’all go off on me for this just let me State that imo no red should coach any game involving thier alma mater. I thought that was why they used a big ten crew, to be totally unbiased.

I know a lot of fake crap goes around FB so don’t want to jump at this too quickly.

 

What's that going to accomplish? You gonna find his name and send him hate mail? You gonna post about how much it sucks? Its highly improbable that they would let a conflict of interest like that happen.

I know he has been known for heading a questionable confrontational crew before from a Michigan/Ohio state game. I’m sure if there was anything to the claims of the connection, the sports media would be over it, just for the ratings and gives them some drama to report.
I do see where you are coming from, rather it’s true or not, that the NCAA would check for possible connections when picking crews.
From what I’ve seen, he is an Illinois U alumni, and some people were questioning him being the head official before the game, bc of the Michigan/Ohio State game in 2016.
