Man Tomac was hauling ass last night. I thought Musquin was going to be one of the main guys to beat. I know he won Atl but he’s been oddly inconsistent this season.

    Happy for Brayton

Happy to see Justin get that win for sure, but Eli was def the class of the field.

What I don't get is when Ralph, Jeff and Ricky kept talking about Marvin "throwing away a huge opportunity" with the points back the Anderson. They acted like the points should have been tailed as soon a Musquin took the lead with Anderson stuck back in 13th (or where ever he was at the time) with like 13 minutes left of racing! They finished like 5th and 7th or something. Seems to me Anderson does that alot, he'll get a bad start but always finishes strong.

What about Zach Osborne too? Man that kid is fast. Watching him come thru the field made that 250 race SO MUCH more enjoyable.

Haha dude Ralph sounds so stupid sometimes... the race is 3 minutes in and he starts talking about points “as they run”. Ok Ralph, thanks for the input. The guys who threw away the biggest opportunities this year have been Roczen and Tomac. Inconsistent/ Injured AF.

Daytona was great. Eli and Zach were fun to watch, coming through the pack. Gotta give Brayton props, not only for the win but he stepped it back up when Eli started to get close. I think they said he dropped his lap times down 1.5-2 seconds on his last 2 laps, knowing Eli was close. Impressive.

I swear Ralph Sheheen has got to be the worst race announcer ever. He even sucks calling AMA Road Racing.
He must be pretty cheap or has some naked pics of AMA wives cause for the life of me I can't believe he is still
    in the announcers booth.

Talk about a boring race. Tomac slayed it though! Announcers sucked again.

Beat me to it. Was about to say probably the most boring race I've ever seen. Lol

Ridiculous Ralph quote of the night... "If Tomac hadn't made those mistakes he could be the points leader". Umm... Dude is 60 points down. Lol

It was fun watching tomacs lead grow and grow every lap and the announcers saying the track is so much slower for the main and then Tomac knocking off The same time he did in practice, then talking about how the track is slowing down at the end. It's called he was lapping everybody and their mother.

D482308E-52F3-48E3-ACE3-3D6BC2123511.jpg I actually fell asleep during the 450 main. Boring track. On a side note I didn’t sleep at a Holiday Inn but I did buy myself a sick pit bike yesterday . :bikewhoops:

Sweeet! Ive never ridden a “pit bike”. Do you ride them on the big tracks or literally just in the pits?

Depends on the suspension the bike has! That thumpstar David just bought has better forks than most pitters. I've had a few China bikes but my current pit bike is a 97' CR80

You can ride them anywhere. I’ve raced them on big tracks. This one I just bought has a 140 cc Piranha engine on a Thumpstar roller with Pro Taper bars and Pro Circuit exhaust and will rip. It has 17/14 tire set up so it rides better than most pit bikes that have the 14/12 set up. Pit Bikes are really fun for old dudes that don’t need to be jumping 60 ft triples anymore.

250 race was good but ya the 450 was a snoozer. But Tomac will do that once in a while. When he gets a good start and everything is clicking for him, no one can touch him. I thought Forkner cracking a bit under pressure was funny. Then him getting all mad after with the lapper was funny. I can see why he was mad but he just seems to act like a punk sometimes.

I understand being in front and expecting the lappers to slow down and let you by but every once in awhile lappers
don't back down quick enough. As long as they are holding their lines leaders shouldn't have any problem passing the
slow pokes. Forkner should have showed a little more patience or passed quicker so he didn't get jacked up in the turn. :bikewhoops:

Ya you are right. Another thing, after digging in a little deeper: Alves moved over for everyone else, but was battling for position himself. He actually passed someone for position right before Forkner came through. And to add to it, Alves didn't actually get a blue flag during that whole exchange with Forkner. So I don't know if he even knew what was going on, until Forkner got around him.

I noticed the same thing... I don't think the flaggers actually realized Forkner was in the lead group because the gap was so big between the top 5. Hence no blue flags for Alves... It was a bummer but that's racing. And at least Forkner was able to get back up into 5th by the end.

After the race I loved it when Alves mechanic stepped in front of Forkner and pretty much told him to back the fuck up. :ohsnap:

In motorcycle racing the first thing you learn is too hold your line. It's the passing riders responsibility to make a clean pass if possible.
At the end of the night if Forkner wouldn't have crashed he wouldn't have needed to work his way back thru the pack. Suck it up buttercup
there is always next week. :bikewhoops:
