I got invited to a shindig and had the game recording... but all my GA friends had to make sure I understood we were taking an ass beating in real time.

I see we got it done to one score in the end... so overall I guess it wasnt to terrible.

Congratulations to the Bulldogs. Now I have to pull for them against LSU later this fall.

So yeah... the three match was merely a pipedream.

I will say however... I think were sooo close to being a top tier team. Trask is only gonna get better and our defense is 1 or 2 playmakers away from the big time.

Well, Oregon gave me a scare at the beginning of the game. Decided to go cook dinner to get my eyes off the game and that shit turns around. Just one more quarter to knock USC from the South lead.

Gus and Klatt went in to total sad trombone mode in the second half. So did the totally unbiased studio crew of Urbs, Reggie Bush, and Matt Leinart.

 

Since Notre Dame won by one against an average ACC team they drop 4 spots right? Character building. Oh, and Clemson with four games in a row with 550+ yards... woke

Watching Dabo Swinney post game, seems they have been quietly putting streaks together and nobody paying much attention.
Third team to put together 9 games in a row, in last 20 years, of keeping opponent to UNDER 300 yards of offense (2011 Alabama / 2006 LSU); last year's defense didn't even do that.

 

I do wish the rest of the ACC would stop beating each other so there was another lossless opponent to get excited about, at least Wake Forest is ranked.
