if they do the same against auburn they do lose, because auburn just couldn't capitalize offensively in situations bama will.

I still wonder why tf LSU runs it up the middle 3 times against Derrick Brown at the goalline and then is just amazed it didn't work...

Ole Miss almost beat Auburn last night. Georgia just pecker slapped Florida. Come on the litmus test isn't there.

exactly. and Alabama's statistics against sub par opponents aren't far enough ahead of LSUs against 3 top 10 opponents to say that Alabama's is better. you're speaking only from opinion.

I used to get SO FUCKING FRUSTRATED when Alabama would seemingly run the same damn RB Draw/HB Draw/insert a running back running the ball into the middle of a defensive line.....2 or 3 downs every freaking time.

"One yard gain", "3 yard gain", "No gain", "Punt".

    Sheesh.

But also, I wonder if they were doing that to try and bruise up the D-line to gas em a bit. Give the O-line a bit of advantage to let Burrow do work.

Y'all, check on your Alabama friends, they finally have a game to watch this year. They are not ok.

We lost... by a touchdown. Sure we took a statistical anal raping... but in the end we had a chance to win late. Nobody wanted to cover Cager and our running game stalled.

Imho LSU played Auburn very well... and against us they did exactly what we feared... ran us up and down the field.

Yup that's called leaning on em and it drives me crazy too. Bama doesn't have that captain at the helm anymore lol.

Not really sure what you mean here.

Saban is still the head coach...lol. Saban still says the running game needs work. I'm quite sure if Saban thought he could lean on teams, he would.

I'm thankful that we have an explosive passing game. It sure is nice to see something other than runs all game long.

I think LSU will win decidedly.

I think the scoreboard wont reflect the game well. (Alabama will make it look closer on the scoreboard)

LSU will have their way with Alabama's defense (Excuse time) made up of 6 true freshmen and seemingly slow and out of position defensive backs. The LSU run game will 5 and 6 yard gain Alabama's front 7 often enough to require Alabama to fill holes with coverage backs. This will open up Burrow's options for passing and Alabama simply wont be in position to make plays in the secondary.

Alabama will probably play Tua. (Bad idea, let the boy heal properly.) Tua will try to come out there and make a showing, force plays and LSU's defense will get 2 turnovers. Both leading to points. Mac Jones will enter, as Tua isnt taking what the defense gives him and Alabama will have 2 more turnovers. Either from Mac or a fumble. Both of those turnovers will lead to points.

Tua will have done enough to hang with LSU initially, but he will get antsy when Bama isnt running up the score and ahead by 3 touchdowns.

This will make the scoreboard show the game was close, but LSU's defense will have made the plays that the scoreboard doesnt show.

I would not call 21 rushing yards stalling out.. They ended up with a 1.1 ypc average...

No. You don't mess with a team when they have a culturally significant leader.
