Nah. Short field after a muffed punt (inside the red zone) that led to a TD. I think only other points they gave up were FGs.

Not what i expected at all. That order of the top 6 is absurd. Right teams, wrong order.

Absolute trash, no respect, no guts

    OHio St, LSU You’re fine

Penn St ehhhhh I guess that it’s ok for them to have a close win over a middling ACC team but that’s not allowed for Clemson

Someone please explain to me what Bama has done to warrant jumping Clemson in AP earlier and being ahead of them now

    Oh well fuck em

Penn state has wins over two current top 20 teams, and no loss to South Carolina.

The two I don’t understand are Ohio state over LSU but that one settles itself out this weekend I think, and Alabama over penn state and Clemson.

the committee leader guy said they put Clemson down based on strength of record but they put Ohio state up based on strength of record. Wtf. Talk about hypocrisy.

It's almost as if 2v3 happens this week and 1v4 happens in a couple weeks and everything will work itself out as it should and an undefeated clemson will end up around 2/3 as they should :crapstorm:

    LOL.

The poll is here, the poll is here!

Annnnnnnnnd the committee swings and a miss.

    1. Clemson (based off of record and precedence of last years national champ, won 15 games last year, hasn't lost this year. Duh.)
    2. LSU. On a high right now. Could "technically" be tied with OSU.
    3. Ohio State. Havent shown a weakness. But also havent been "tested".
    4. Alabama. Alabama's schedule is questionable at best. Will probably lose to LSU.
    5. Penn State. Sure, why not.

I see the Clemson faithful are regurgitating Dabo's sentiments with regard to Alabama's schedule.

Dabo asked "Who has Alabama beat in the SEC?"

Well, Alabama plays the teams you've played during the last 5 years, EVERY YEAR. Alabama plays LSU, Auburn, aTm EVERY SINGLE YEAR. For quite some time now, Alabama has been the winning team somewhat consistently. This year Clemson's SEC foe was aTm, which is hurting both Clemson AND Alabama.

Luckily, Alabama still has the opportunity to face LSU and Auburn....(Of which I think Alabama loses both.) Don't worry Dabo and the Dabo faithful, Alabama will sort itself out. HAHAHAHAHAHA

    Interesting for sure.

    I think I'd have it:

    1. LSU - they've earned it thus far
    2. Clempson - Defending champs riding a win streak - weaker schedule but still winning
    3. Ohio State - flashy and look complete (will see after Penn State)
    4. Nebraska... Just kidding... Bama - for now

yeah but the issue you aren't seeing (because yes it will sort itself out) is that they are awarding Bama for WHAT'S TO COME but punishing Clemson for WHAT HAS HAPPENED. The "what has happened" part is moreso in Clemson's favor so it doesn't make sense to award one for something but punish the other for the same thing.

yes the "it sorts itself out" argument is valid....but similar to when people say the AP poll and preseason rankings don't matter. It DOES in fact matter because it's what "validates" quality wins and/or losses. Just like the playoff poll will do.

I think I'm lost, but Alabama and Clemson have both played aTm....so.....

Wait, I think my post switches (in an organized fashion) between past and present.

I think Dabo's statement switches back an forth, but... I really want to focus on the fact that Alabama and Clemson have both had weak schedules and played aTm THIS YEAR. I think Clemson should be ahead of Alabama now, based on precedence. But Dabo needs to hush. Saban needs to hush about kickoff times.

    Shut up and play football..

I'm trying to find the stats, but I think they said on the show last night Alabama has 1 win over a power 5 team that has a winning record, that being Texas A&M. Clemson has 3.
