If you've ever played sports, you know as well as I do that adrenaline is a helluva drug. They probably had him propped up on some pain killers too. I'm guessing sitting after that much activity on it may have made it stiffen up and hurt.

I know Alabama basically had to go undefeated this year to make the playoff, but, damn.
