Yeah, the Mike Riley experiment was interesting. There was a lot of googling "who is mike riley" the night that announcement was made

They just wanted the anti-Pelini and that's all they cared about. But, I tried to go in with an open mind and let it play out. The recruiting was decent but oof.

I know Frost will get Neb back to conference contention yearly with maybe a senior class run at more. Loooots of rebuilding/restocking to do still. All the "Year 2" bs from UCF was so media hyped though. Not a lot of people believed it. I did like it that it had to help build confidence for the team but once things tuned south, some players started to cave a little. Next year should be a much better year and if key players stick around, year 4 could be real good. I'm patient in my approach though. I've been burned a lot. I'm a Bears/Huskers fan so I know patience a little

This might be the hottest sports take ever, and skip bayless talks nonsense for a living. Not the biggest basketball fan, NBA is a crock of shit, but there is nothing better than the NCAA tourney but we can table this discussion for mid January

    100% agree.

I dont watch CBB for the opposite reason CFB is pissing me off...

They let TOO MANY teams in. And just about every conference let's every team into their championship tournament. Why have a regular season if you're going to let everybody in the postseason anyway. Not to mention the whole one-and-done thing. Referring to players playing one year in college and going straight to Pro. Either make him finish school or don't require them to go to college at all.

32 teams was the sweet spot. But to attempt the money grab they doubled the tournament. And then found a way to squeeze in 4 more.

I celebrate all professional sports and I kind of like basketball but what the NCAA and NBA are doing with the money grab is starting to drive me away as well.

When I managed vehicles at the City of Atlanta. OJI and call in sick was off the chain in the Roads, Watershed and Sanitation departments during March madness. It was impossible to get any take home vehicles in for service.

Gonna be hard with all that sponsorship and TV money to get rid of bowls, unless they have teams play in 3+ bowl games on the way to a title :notsure:

CBB regular season means absolutely nothing. Win 5 games and you’re basically in the tourney. Too many teams, not enough drama in the season. It’s the worst time of the year in sports.

You use the bowls as the playoff games.

Scott Frost extended to 2026. I wish I had that kind of job security.

Don’t really pay attention to them but aren’t they under .500 again? I get supporting your guy but isn’t an extension kinda unnecessary, not like anyone is looking to poach him.
