LSU had 9minutes more possession, 31-39 passing, 40 rushing attempts (so 71 total "productive" plays if you take out incomplete passes), more than 50% 3rd down completion, 4 penalties, 1 turnover

Bama had 21-40 passing, 28 rushing attempts (so 49 total "productive" plays if you take out incomplete passes), and less than 50% 3rd down completion, 7 penalties, 2 turnovers

BUT IF YOU THINK LSU DOMINATED BAMA YOU'RE AN IDIOT

not a single stat did Alabama win in that game that mattered, they luckily scored on 2 LSU mistakes BUT THEY WERE IN IT THE WHOLE TIME.

and LSU has a really bad taste in their mouth from last year so I just don't see it being a "pretty" or "friendly" game...

 

Once again Bama is lucky to score on mistakes and it’s raw talent when LSU does. Yes once again if dominated means you still had a chance to win in the 4th quarter to you then once again you are an idiot. Dominated means you ended it in the first half. Like the Ravens the other night or the 49ers vs Green Bay. I know it’s been a tough decade but you don’t have to try to prop up a game that was pulled out in the end as dominating. Here this is closer to being dominated but still could be argued it falls short.

 

I think the Aggies will try to pull some LSU players down but they will be coached up and stay out of it. Should be over in the 3rd if LSU plays it right.

 

It’s kind of funny stronghammer is in Alabama repping LSU and I’m 45 min from Tiger stadium repping Bama.

LSU did it with sustained drives not 2 busted coverages. That’s the difference and why I put the stat of productive plays.

 

The only thing funny about that is you aren’t wise enough to swap teams lol. You’re right near one of the best areas in the country whereas Tuscaloosa is one of the worst lol

 

I use dominated as the term because it riles fans up in here that know bama didn’t have an actual chance to win the game. No it wasn’t whole game dominance, but the domination in the first half wayyyyyy outweighs the missed plays that bama scored on in the second. That’s why I keep saying the fact LSU responded every time but once with a score is domination offensively.

 

Now that’s just nasty right there. My hunting camp is just south of Tuscaloosa and it’s a good town kind of like Baton Rouge. I’ve had LSU season tickets and enjoy loads of fun there tailgating. Usually always pull for em unless playing Bama. Want to hear something really funny? I have two sons one 20 and currently at Tulane, the other 18 still in high school. Oldest is a Bama fan and my youngest a Auburn fan. I’m like WTF.

Lol we will see. Just seemed strange to move away from Alabama thinking no more crazy iron bowl weeks and bam the kids flip. Most have no clue how bad it is. They locked us down in high school, families split up and all kinds of crazy shit happens. I tell all my LSU buddies it must be nice for the whole state to be able to pull for one team.

 

My girlfriend is sadly an Alabama fan, her worst quality, because she went to school there. So I doubt I have much pull over the kids we have one day lol
