Barbers is a made man. He isn’t staying at Cuse, and Meyer will die on the field of his medical condition is accurate.

That and he is basically a walking ‘show cause.’

 

I don't know how Urban is even allowed to work at ESPN let alone possibly coach again... dude is toxic. But... winning trumps all so it's a possibility unfortunately.

I almost stated that earlier. Agreed. You are right, bringing Carroll back in some capacity would serve them well but I actually enjoy them being shitty really. I think it's funny.

I know I will be but the Pac-12 gets a bad rap.... we beat up on each other by playing 9 conference games and no cupcakes after sept. It also doesn’t help that we play these stupid Friday night games that usually have the underdog winning them. I’m realistic when I say I understand the pac isn’t the best but dammit man we get a shitty rap

 

Pac has improved overall. I really meant in the 2000s when USC was running rampant through the conference.

Nowindays the PAC is solid... Several good teams, just none great. USC is hurting that but I expect big things from Oregon this year.

One thing that doesn't help is most of us East Coasters don't watch the PAC 12 after dark games. Outta sight, outta mind type mentality.

Just sitting over here laughing at Dabo coming out ya’ll’s mouth as if you know anything about Clemson or live anywhere in the 50 mile radius of the university, which is about as far as you go before you start having to navigate through gamecock fans- it’s a small base, most of you probably thought it was pronounced ClemZon until a few seasons ago. You need to realize it’s not just Dabo, it’s the culture at Clemson and a man who made a perfect marriage. Each have been waiting for the other, neither will be better with another.

No doubt he’s a grand orchestrator, but the team’s success has a lot to do with Brent Venables. The co-offensive coordinators aren’t bad either. What nobody is talking about is those guys leaving, which is all anyone talks about with those other programs. There’s good reason for it- most of them are alumni and comfortable in their current position. Hell, iirc Dabo gave up some of his salary to pay Venables what he thought he is worth- best move he ever made. I think the composition of his staff is the story, which makes him all the better.
