I remember watching both those games in shock. Unreal luck.

 

I like being an LSU fan when it comes to discussing Auburn because LSU almost always finds a way to win in the last drive or final minutes. Les miles used to do that crap so often to them specifically.

 

I alway's like Les Miles even when he beat my Auburn Tigers. I had my fingers crossed he would come to Auburn.

Oh no! la state has some kind of new fangled spread offense. What in the world will texas do? I don’t think they’ve ever seen a high speed spread offense before. They should probably just skip this week.

What's the deal with Texas/LSU & this "DBU" mockery? Had to start somewhere...

 

It’s really Florida that tried to start all the mockery. I’ve never once heard Texas claim or be called DBU until drifter started to. LSU has claimed it for years upon years at least in the sec, and Florida a couple years ago tried to say they owned the title of DBU but they suck so obviously it didn’t hold lol.

 

I don't think any B12 school can claim "DBU" with the amount of poundings their DBs take in conference by any QB.

 

I thought Texas was DBU because I’ve been hearing it since the 90’s. So when strong mentioned it I googled and posted an article refuting his dubious claims. As far as Florida goes, they can fuck right off this discussion is between the big boys.

 

Florida has two championships since the last one Texas won.

Haha like I said I’ve never heard Texas called DBU. I’m sure it’s a conference thing. All I’m sayin....like @kakwvu....is that LSU doesn’t let teams score 50+ on them unless it’s a 7 overtime game....but the B12 seems to have “shootouts” a lot....must be some shitty DBs.

It’s funny how the sec always claims the big xii doesn’t play defense but the head to head games prove different. I think we should change the narrative to the fact that the sec plays shitty offense.

 

You aren't wrong on the back half of that at all, but SEC offenses still score at will on B12 defenses, so that's a tight rope walk.
