I'm not so optimistic. New QBs have a history of going off against the Vols. Baker Mayfield at OU (when he was new) and Will Grier at UF

Maybe if we were in Knoxville but UF will handle business. Vols defense is straight trash

I saw a post today about ND’s run defense being ranked 120th. This is gonna be fun.

It’s also bias toward teams that run up tempo like WSU who is an uptempo and air raid team there’s a reason why their QB is leading in passing yards... back when Oregon has chip kelly and they were running a pay every 16 seconds or so our skilled position guys were killing it in production.

I watched the L’Ville game...I was thinking Fromm may not even have to throw the ball.

Now, you know they’ll stack the box and make Fromm throw it, which doesn’t worry me, either.

Still kicking myself for turning down those tickets.

Could be like 1980 all over again in that we only threw 1 pass in the game.

But I agree, they’ll likely stack the box so could be a huge day for Pickens making a name for himself.

On a side note I read an article talking about the guest picker possibilities which name several UGA people along with Devon Gales. Also mentioned Sean Austin. If they pick Sean it will show badly their love for ND. I know he only acted but still. Don’t they always have a picker that reps the home team?

I hope D. Rob is full strength, between him and Pickens it could be a huge day if they stack the box all day.

thought this was cool. 2 different 89 yard touchdown catches by OBJ, 7 years apart, both with Landry right there supporting him.

I remember seeing a story after that AL/LSU game a while back about the kicker after the game. He was caught in his dorm room trying to hang himself for playing so poorly... but he couldn't kick the chair out from under him......
Not gonna happen. I cant wait to see Trask with a full game plan designed for him.

The day I got married to my wife, Alabama played SCAR and lost.

This past Saturday my wife and I attended the wedding of her best friend. To say we were a little superstitious would be an understatement.

When the Alabama place kicker started missing field goals, I threatened to skip the wedding and just come to the reception. My wife did NOT like that idea, but on some level, she understood. After Alabama started to put some distance between them and SCAR, I put on my suit and attended the wedding.

As the bride and groom were saying their vows, I looked at my wife and said...."You know, Alabama's kicker is a 5 star recruit. I dont think it is the kickers....I think its the uniform. Once you put on an Alabama uni as a kicker....your life is fucked." The entire row we were sitting in, the row in front of and behind us all started dying laughing.

But it is true. The kid is on scholly too, I think. Saban never has a scholly for kickers. He usually saves it for linebackers, running backs or another explosive skill position.
