I saw that. That’s some bullshit. If we aren’t gonna have NCAA football games, screw the whole thing about letting them profit from their likeness. Damn.

Just give all the D1 football players a free copy of the game and like $250 (that’s how much the average person got per year they were “featured” in the class action lawsuit anyway that ruined it for everyone), EA will make billions off the first new game anyways.

Bwaaaaaaaaahahahahahahahhaaha. That's so true and funny.

    Dammit.

We didnt even have a good punter last year....Alabama used to be able to lean on the fact that the punter did such a good job that the missed field goals were kinda not as bad...lol.

    Punting sucked too.

I wonder if the new strength and conditioning program will help with any of this...hahahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahaa

If you're gonna pay the players, then BY GOD you BETTER HAVE A FUCKING VIDEO GAME.

The reason there is no video game? Players didnt get compensated for their likeness.

If players start getting compensated, then I see no reason for not having a game.

EA Sports could EASILY pay each player a nominal amount in addition to the other monies they will be given along with a copy of the game....done.

    Get your shit together.

Coincidentally, if PAAAAAAWWWWWLLLL Finebaum is right, this is the beginning of the end of the NCAA. Which means, EA SPORTS wont have to worry about NCAA violations anymore. Boom..

I'd like to see the basketball programs wrapped up in the ADIDAS shit get annihilated before that happens. After, sure.

But that's for a thread we don't have..

The NCAA is outdated and should have been overran years ago. I was hoping this would be the kick in the ass to show the Dumbest governing body in sports isn’t needed.

What is a better option though?

The NCAA is all I've ever known and I've never really considered an alternative governing body, that is associated with universities.

Maybe we should all get together and create a new alternative that the NCAA wants to adopt and then sell it to them....lol. We get rich, the NCAA gets better and we can continue to laugh at the UT's of the world.

The only way to change the NCAA is if they move the power 5 to a “minor league” system and essentially disconnect the school from athletics which will never happen.

Just saw that. Read the only reason he went there was so his parents could attend his games easier.

Bet he’ll be in Miami ...

Miami already has like 4 QBs on the roster including D'Eriq King that just transferred in from Houston. Taulia would be going from 3rd string to 4th string if he did that. Regardless of their family ties and wanting to be near his brother I think he can play somewhere and prove he's a good QB. I see him going somewhere where he can play immediately and show his skills. UCF, USF, FIU, somewhere like that where he goes right in and plays.
